longest books I've ever read // top ten tuesday
I love lists. Lists are the best! Which is why Top Ten Tuesday is the PERFECT meme for me to participate in! If you didn't know, Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by Jana @ That Artsy Reader Girl. Every week, there's a new topic to respond to and this week's topic is
longest books I've ever read
So, without further ado, here are the top ten longest books I've ever read (from shortest to longest):
- - -
10. City of Heavenly Fire by Cassandra Clare (640 pages)
9. Deeper by Roderick Gordan and Brian Williams (655 pages)
8. A Short History of Nearly Everything by Bill Bryson (687 pages)
5. Lord of Shadows by Cassandra Clare, Lamplighter by D.M. Cornish, and Inkdeath by Cornelia Funke (699 pages)
4. Breaking Dawn by Stephenie Meyer (754 pages)
3. Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix by J.K. Rowling (766 pages)
2. Inheritance by Christopher Paolini (860 pages)
And the winner, weighing in at a whopping 911 pages, is...
1. A Clash of Kings by George R.R. Martin
Um yeah so I guess I like reading long books?! And I only included one book from each series - otherwise my top ten would have been all George R.R. Martin, Christopher Paolini, and Cassandra Clare!
